I won a bottle of Veganese Condition made by Lush on Sweeps 4 Bloggers blog. I have split ends and my hair gets really frizzy when the humidity is high. I used to color my hair all the time so it's damaged as well. I used Veganese Conditioner once and can already see a difference in my hair. It is shiner, smoother and all over healthier looking. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the scent. It has an almost manly scent. To me, that's a small price to pay for gorgeous hair. So if you use it, I would recommend using a scented hairspray or spraying perfume in the air and then wavying your hair around in it. If you spray it directly on your hair, you can damage it. If you are looking for a product that will give you smooth, silky looking hair, Veganese Conditioner is your best bet.

If your hair alternates between various moods every day of the week, then a good supply of conditioners and shampoos should keep you happy all year long. The lemon oil in two of the Lush products work together especially well. Veganese Conditioner and I Love Juicy shampoo could not be a better solution if you need to deep clean your hair. Like after you have put too much hairspray in your hair or you went swimming or say you fell in a mud puddle (In that case, also reach for Happy Hippy body wash).



You just never know what may occur and one must always be prepared. The Veganese is also a lovely vegetarian product that can be enjoyed by anyone. It has a very clean, happy energy and a lemony scent. The slippery conditioner slicks across your hair, making it shiny and manageable without weighing it down.



This also contains rosemary infusion, lavender flower infusion, seaweed and fresh lemon juice. Will be appreciated by anyone trying to lighten their hair.



If you use the henna products by Lush, these two products might slightly lighten your henna results. This could be desired or you may want to go back to using Rehab and American Cream if you want to keep a deeper henna shade.



If you want to feel light and breezy, this conditioner won't weigh you down. My hair feels fluffy and deliciously light and bouncy. I have this strange urge to go wander in lemon orchards, run through mud puddles and pick flowers by the side of the road.

I tend to be fairly low-maintenance (lazy) and prefer to shampoo and go if possible, but when I need my thick, slightly frizzy hair to be wonderfully sleek and shiny even in high humidity, I reach for the Veganese. Great fresh scent is wonderful in the mornings. I find a little goes a long way. Works very well after LUSH shampoo bars, and the scent doesn't clash with either Karma Komba or Squeaky Green. Much less expensive than the Aveda pre-styling anti-frizz treatment I was considering...

I bought some of this for myself and absolutely loved it! It smells so incredibly good! It reminds me of a head shop not that I ever frequented them, but I've smelled them from afar! Very hippylike! I loved it so much that my dear husband bought me some of the other products in the same scent for Christmas (alongwith more soap)! It's a very decadent gift!

Lush advertises its Karma line as balancing, invigorating, with a bit of bohemian flair. Indeed, it is all of those things. It's a difficult fragrance to explain- definitely well-blended and multi-layered. The best description I can give is that the oranges give an uplifting sparkle while the patchouli grounds the fragrance. It's much more than a sum of it's parts- in fact, I think it's possible to hate one of the components and still love this perfume. I am no fan of patchouli, but really like Karma. I've been in love with this scent since I first smelled it in a Lush shop in 2001. Lush sells its Karma fragrance in a variety of forms, but I think I like the soap best. It's a little lighter on the perfume, and lingers on the skin, especially when using it to wash hands.

One whiff of this delicious soap and you are transported to a land of pine trees where plates of freshly sliced oranges are served on a bed of lemongrass, surrounded by patchouli candles. This is the best way I can describe the scent that seems to awaken from the night and mingle with memories of exotic honey and wide-open skies.



I am not sure where I go when I inhale deeply, but I am no longer in the shower. Follow this with the Skin Sin lotion and you will enter a little bit of heaven on earth. Also delicious to use in a bath with sea salts and patchouli, orange slices optional, but you might crave the taste of oranges while using this soap.

Hoola is a great bronzer without giving that overly bronzed 'fake' look! Just brush a little on here and there and you have that pretty tanned look! Make sure to tap or blow on brush before applying. I have medium/olive skin, in the winter I can get pretty pale for me, so I will maybe put a little on to give a slight glow or warmness. In the summer it just adds to the natural warmth of your face from the sun (I always use sunscreen of course!). I am on my second box of Hoola and the first lasted me YEARS!!! Overall. awesome product!! :)

I was first attracted to this conditioner by its incredible scent - it smells quite strongly of pine. I absolutely love it, and have been using this product on and off for several years now. The smell stays in my hair, and conditions well enough to keep me happy.



However, this is not at all a deep conditioner, and as one who often dyes my hair, I find it a bit lacking in that respect. I've tried to intensify the results by simply using more, but I've found that it becomes increasingly difficult to rinse out effectively when doing so - it ends up leaving this heavy, greasy film when too much is used.



It's a bit awkward to use as a solid, so I've always mixed it with a bit of water and put it in a bottle. I suppose that this completely defeats the purpose of having it as a solid, but the difficulty applying it as such was really just not working out.



All things considered, I think I would still recommend this product to anyone who hasn't tried it. A cool side benefit of using a lighter, natural conditioner was that my skin cleared up significantly - I suppose the excessively filmy silicon-based traditional conditioners were clogging my pores.

The scent of this is amazing, although I don't know that it smells of tropical fruit! I know a lot of people say the fragrance lingers in their hair afterward, I could only smell it faintly for an hour or so until it faded. In terms of effectiveness, though, it works wonderfully. Honestly, at first I didn't like it though because it was really tricky to use and I could never seem to get the right amount for my hair. I used to rub it directly on my hair (like the solid shampoo bars), but I find that it's better to slice off slivers and then break off little bits from that. In the shower, I mush it up in my hand with a bit of hot water and put it on the ends of my hair. It really took some getting use to, but now I really like it!

What an incredible conditioner! I paired it with one of Lush's solid shampoos, and boy do I love it! The smell is so wonderful- it really calms the senses. The application was a bit tricky at first, only because I had to keep swiping it on my hair to get the ends. Now that I'm used to it, I have no trouble. My hair is straight-ish, and after using the conditioner, my hair is silky and full of body!

This product was a disappointment. On the plus side, it does stay put, especially if set with powder. As other reviewers stated, the color is very light, which is OK for my legs. The problem is the strong pink undertones. I am NOT that pink! How many people have skin tones that can use something that pink? The color reminds me of cheap foundation one might have bought in the 1950's. I would only recommend this product for the rare person who can use foundation with strong pink undertones.

Some of the really bad veins, age spots, etc. you develop with age (and too much sun in your youth) make short pants seems inappropriate. Well, this cover up is really great. The only word of warning. While I'm very pale - very pale! - this lightest cover up was TOO light. My leg color, as with most people, gets more exposure and therefore is darker in tone. So you need to order 1 or 2 shades darker than you probably initially think you should if you spend any time without spending it in sun block. And while it took just a little bit longer than expected to get, overall I'm ok with the results as I can use the cover elsewhere on my body. I've already ordered and received a darker shade for my legs and I've already used it. And it doesn't rub off on anything!

This is a product that is very convient to use when I want to go

I felt like the price for just a few small samples in baggies was kind of high (especially with shipping), but I had heard a lot about Youngblood makeup and wanted to try it before spending $36 on a foundation I hadn't tried. It gave pretty good coverage, but made me look very shiny. I have oily skin, so I don't need any help in the shine department. I would recommend this for people with skin that is more normal to dry.

There were some extras included that I wasn't expecting (rice powder and blush), but I thought the color choices for the foundations didn't give enough range. First of all, let me say that they got this item to me really, really quickly (2 business days), especially considering that I am in MI and the item came from southern CA. My only complaint is that the bags that the samples come in are really, really small (around 2.5x1.5 in) and they weren't anywhere near as full as in the pictures. I estimate that each bag contained around 1/4 tsp of powder, maybe less... not very much to work with. Another thing is, if you look at the choices in colors, there are 16 of them. They group the samples as "light to medium", "medium to dark" and "dark". Since they have 16 shades in all, I expected to receive more than 4 different colors when I chose "light to medium", but I guess that's my fault since the picture only shows 6 bags, which includes the blush and the rice powder. I'm just wondering if maybe there is a color in there that might have suited me more, but was not included in the sample. (Incidentally, if you search "youngblood sampler", there is another item worth $6.50 which is listed. Looks like the same item, except that the colors that are included in the sampler are enumerated.) Having said all this, I think I will end up buying one of the shades which were included in my sampler since it seems to have blended into my skin pretty well! The powder itself is just really fine, smooth and silky. I just hope I will love it when I actually have enough powder to cover my face with! Will just add a comment when I receive and use the full size!
