Uluru Bath Bomb by LUSH

Buy Cheap Uluru Bath Bomb by LUSH

Buy Low Price From Here Now

The magnificent pink and orange in Uluru were inspired by photographs of sunset over Ayers rock, and so its fragrance was created with Australian essential oils to make it more authentic. We wanted this bomb to have the same calming effect as the sight of a stunning sunset at the end of a busy day. Hence the desert rosewood oil that is said to uplift and enliven the mind when its bogged down with problems, likewise the refreshing lemon myrtle, sublimely calming sandalwood and reviving orange oil. Despite its appearance you can use it in the morning too or any time you need a helping of soothing sunset.

"Honey "Pee" is too subtly scented - grossly yellow" 2009-06-04
By Jonason Keeton (Norcross, GA United States)
I can agree this is more "Honey Pee" than "Honey Bee". The urine yellow was a big turn off. The actual aromatics from the bath bomb were very subtle - almost too little to even notice. However, taking a bath with the bomb is nice, though. It will leave your skin nice and soft. The complaints about the tub ring are very true and unlike many of the other bath bombs I've used.

There are much better options out there - such as World Piece or Ne Worry Pas.

 "Antibacterial Honey" 2008-05-15
By Rebecca Johnson (Washington State)
"All honey is antibacterial, because the bees add an enzyme that makes hydrogen peroxide..." ~Peter Molan, director of the Honey Research Unit in New Zealand

Rhassoul Mud is a mineral rich mud found in the Atlas mountains in Africa. This is blended with Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, Honey, Aloe Vera, Sweet Orange Oil, Bergamot Oil and Gardenia Oil.

The water is a mild summery color that can make you feel a little more pleased with life or just a little happier. The fragrance is a warm caramel honey and so this goes well with products like Sultana of Soap, Flying Fox Shower Gel (for bubbles) and "It's a Pleasure Treasure" massage bar.

To make your bath even more fun, try a honey mask with pure honey or try L'Occitane Honey Harvest or Korres moisturizing honey mask.

Instead of being silky like some of the Lush baths, this bath is more slippery. I found it to be very skin calming because of the Aloe Vera. Due to the slippery, more spa-like quality of this bath, I would not recommend you use "Honey Bee" it in a bath for children or the elderly.

"The Best of the Bombs" 2008-05-04

I am addicted to Lush bath bombs, but this one by far is my favorite. Sure it turns the water yellow, but I don't really care since this bomb leaves my skin smelling wonderful all day.

"So, how about that yellow water?" 2008-03-31
By Disorderly with Love
Lush is fairly well known for its quality products and usually has a ton of great reviews -

But this one is only so-so.

First of all, with the bath bombs from Lush, you have to watch how much water you put in your bath. The more water you have, the more diluted the product is. But common sense should tell you that.

Second of all - this bath bomb turns the water the same color as pee. I'm not kidding. Yes it does smell very nice, but you're sitting in yellow bath water. Your call.

Third of all - if the pee colored water wasn't bad enough, this bomb left a terrible yellow ring around my tub that I am STILL trying to get off!

 "Bridget's review" 2009-07-09
By bridget3420
I won a bottle of Veganese Condition made by Lush on Sweeps 4 Bloggers blog. I have split ends and my hair gets really frizzy when the humidity is high. I used to color my hair all the time so it's damaged as well. I used Veganese Conditioner once and can already see a difference in my hair. It is shiner, smoother and all over healthier looking. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the scent. It has an almost manly scent. To me, that's a small price to pay for gorgeous hair. So if you use it, I would recommend using a scented hairspray or spraying perfume in the air and then wavying your hair around in it. If you spray it directly on your hair, you can damage it. If you are looking for a product that will give you smooth, silky looking hair, Veganese Conditioner is your best bet.

"Light Conditioner for Combination/Oily Hair" 2008-04-27
By Rebecca Johnson (Washington State)
If your hair alternates between various moods every day of the week, then a good supply of conditioners and shampoos should keep you happy all year long. The lemon oil in two of the Lush products work together especially well. Veganese Conditioner and I Love Juicy shampoo could not be a better solution if you need to deep clean your hair. Like after you have put too much hairspray in your hair or you went swimming or say you fell in a mud puddle (In that case, also reach for Happy Hippy body wash).

You just never know what may occur and one must always be prepared. The Veganese is also a lovely vegetarian product that can be enjoyed by anyone. It has a very clean, happy energy and a lemony scent. The slippery conditioner slicks across your hair, making it shiny and manageable without weighing it down.

This also contains rosemary infusion, lavender flower infusion, seaweed and fresh lemon juice. Will be appreciated by anyone trying to lighten their hair.

If you use the henna products by Lush, these two products might slightly lighten your henna results. This could be desired or you may want to go back to using Rehab and American Cream if you want to keep a deeper henna shade.

If you want to feel light and breezy, this conditioner won't weigh you down. My hair feels fluffy and deliciously light and bouncy. I have this strange urge to go wander in lemon orchards, run through mud puddles and pick flowers by the side of the road.

Now officially in the mood to make lemonade!

"Great for de-frizzing without being too heavy" 2008-04-27
By Dancing Ferret (Chicago, IL)
I tend to be fairly low-maintenance (lazy) and prefer to shampoo and go if possible, but when I need my thick, slightly frizzy hair to be wonderfully sleek and shiny even in high humidity, I reach for the Veganese. Great fresh scent is wonderful in the mornings. I find a little goes a long way. Works very well after LUSH shampoo bars, and the scent doesn't clash with either Karma Komba or Squeaky Green. Much less expensive than the Aveda pre-styling anti-frizz treatment I was considering...

"Greatest shampoo in the world!" 2009-02-24
By Jennifer Forester (San Fransico, CA)
I love this shampoo. I also love beer. If you don't like beer, you probably won't like the shampoo, it's the first ingredient. Beer does wonders for your hair; shiney, soft...no fly aways. This is a great shampoo and leaves dry hair very moisturized. I use in conjunction with either Lush's Veganese or Coolualin conditioners. Pairs great with the lemon from Veganese. If you don't like the scent, I don't notice it at all after I dry my hair - noticing mostly the scent of the conditioners.

"Cocktail hour for the head" 2008-08-20
By LH422 (Washington, USA)
The formula of this shampoo is excellent for dry hair. It's very moisturizing, and produces a rich lather. It's meant to give much-needed weight to heavy, thick, frizzy, out-of-control hair. And that it does. My hair turned out very nicely from it's wash with Cynthia Sylvia Stout. The reason I probably won't be buying it again is the smell. This stuff reeks of beer, which I just don't find pleasant at all. Too bad, because it's a great shampoo. I gave it a 4 because the formula is fantastic. If I didn't hate the scent it would absolutely be a 5.

 "Not at all impressed" 2007-10-31
By J. S.
I try to review everything I buy on Amazon very objectively, and I know that some products work better for some people than others.

Having said that, I fstill cannot understand why anyone would like this shampoo. First of all, the price is pretty ridiculous ($8 for 3.3oz). This would be completely justifiable if the product were some kind of miracle-worker.

The smell doesn't bother me much, although it definitely screams "I'm an organic product that is trying something Walgreens wouldn't!" I have long, brown, moderately-abused hair (from straightening treatments/ironing) that is usually still very soft when used with generic shampoos and conditioners.

I tried this shampoo coupled with the American Cream (which smells good, but has a weird chemical undertone to it), and my hair feels frizzy, dry, and disagreeable. I feel like the combination sucked all of the moisture out of my hair! And, to be sure that it wasn't just the conditioner's fault, I used it by itself another time, and my hair still just felt leeched of nutrients.

Now, I realize that hair strands are actually just dead cells. So it's not like I expected this product to do anything miraculous. But I noticed no increase in shine, and it somehow dried my hair out. Even if brands like Garnier just make my hair feel soft because they put synthetic ingredients in their products, I'd rather have manageable, silky hair than dry, unruly hair!

I would advise you to not believe the claims that Lush hair products stand out because they don't just 'cover up your hair problems'. Hair is comprised of dead cells, people. So I'd go for the waxy Walgreens brands any day!

By S. E. Ralph
i never would have bought this shampoo if i didn't try it out just for fun once. i was cat sitting at my sisters apartment for a week and decided to try out some of her crazy bathroom stuff while i was there. i'd heard that alot of hair products that were known for healthy hair were actually not healthy at all due to all of the chemicals and residues they leave behind in your hair, so i was intrigued. i smelled it first and thought "Yuck! who would put this is their hair!?" but lemme tell ya, i did. and it does not leave your hair smelling like the bottle at all. it leaves your hair smelling clean! feeling clean! soft and light, but not fluffy. it makes my hair literally squeaky clean. i was hooked after the first time i used it and bought the biggest bottle i could before i flew back home. when i arrived home and showed it to my boyfriend i made him smell it and he said "oh wow! it smells so good i want to drink it!!" different strokes i guess.

By Brycen T. Edwards (Florida)
The scent on this is too overwhelming for my sensitive little nose. I am also one of those freaks who are allergic to Stout Beer. I give it as a gift quite often to my fellow beer loving friends. Everyone who has gotten this shampoo from me has loved it regardless of hair type. The smell and idea of this shampoo is fun. It works wonders. The scent is not overwhelming after the hair is rinsed. It is a scent that you either love or hate though. I would recommend this as a gift idea for something fun and unique.

"Nice when using, not so much afterwards" 2009-08-19
By Dagny R. (New York)
There are lots of cool things about Fresh Farmacy. The smell is very calming, and this soap goes on extremely smoothly to wet skin. It doesn't really lather, but the texture is VERY nice, and after rinsing, you can tell that your face has been thoroughly cleaned.

Perhaps a bit too thoroughly, though. Despite the fact that I have somewhat oily skin, I found this product to be excessively drying. I always seem to use a great deal of moisturizer afterward, so I'm somewhat reluctant to buy this product again.

"Fresh Pharmacy is a miracle soap............." 2009-08-02
By Sharon Duffy (Sarasota, FL.)
My son was troubled with acne since he was 11. After many Dermatologists visits, expensive prescription creams, and $200.00 worth of Proactiv, my son's face and neck grew increasingly angrier looking. This was no mild case of acne. At 13,he was clearly upset over his skin. Walking through the mall one day with my son, we were stopped by a woman who claimed to have the same problem as my son.( She had beautiful skin).I thought she was trying to sell us something.I even asked her if she worked in the mall.( she didn't)She claimed she owed her clear skin to a soap called "Fresh Pharmacy", by Lush products, and that we couldn't buy it here in Sarasota, but could order it on line. She wrote down the name, and I ordered a few bars for my son. That woman was an Angel. His acne disappeared ,every day,a little more, and even the red scares left behind were gone in a few months. My son turned 18 yesterday, and has been acne free for 5 years now. He's handsome, and has a beautiful smile, not to mention beautiful skin. If a pimple dares to show up, he makes a paste with the soap, and a drop of water, and applies it to the bump. It's gone overnight. I am on-line right now ordering a few bars to send him up at college. He lets me know when he's running out. A few things we learned.....We only keep the extra bars in the fridge, and don't leave it in the shower, because it will melt. But, we're not complaining.... Thank you Lush for this wonderful product. It gave my son his life back. We feel very blessed........Sharon Duffy

"great cleanser. It would be perfect if it exfoliated too! " 2009-01-05
By Connie M. Jan
I saw all the high praise this cleanser got on the lush website and on here and had to buy it. The calamine was the thing that drew me to it since we're so used to using calamine lotion on insect bites, it just made sense calamine would be great for acne prone skin. I'm starting to run low on FF, so i haven't been using it as much, but it went on nice and smooth and washed off the same. It leaves my skin not squeaky but clean and soft. I think it leaves just a little bit of moisturizer on your skin and makes your skin look matte (the porcelain look others are talking about). When i use it on a normal basis throwing in a exfoliater every few days and using Lush's Imperialis lotion my skin improves. I still get pimples every now and then but they're a lot smaller.

 "Didn't work for me :(" 2008-08-25
By M. Mills (East Coast, USA)
Just as all the other reviewers have said, Fresh Farmacy's main ingredient is calamine lotion, which gives the bar its trademark color, texture, and mild scent. It has pretty bits of dried lavender and flowers on top that aren't really functional but still look nice.

I've had moderate acne since I was 12, and I love LUSH products, so I tried FF in hopes of finding a more "natural" blemish remedy. Unfortunately, it wasn't the cure-all that most people make it out to be -- it simply didn't work for my greasy, sensitive, highly blemish-prone skin. Every time I used FF, it left this weird pinkish-gray residue on my face that I had to exfoliate off with a washcloth. I was also shocked to feel my skin just as greasy as before I washed it. FF's scent is so nice and calming that I was really disappointed when it didn't get rid of my acne. It made a negligible improvement in the acne on my forehead (i.e., eliminated 1-2 blemishes out of 20) but ended up drying out my cheeks and chin, which then exacerbated the acne in those spots. I may as well have been washing my face with regular bar soap for all the improvement I saw! :(

If your skin typically only responds to benzoyl peroxide (mine does), FF may not work for you. I see that another reviewer didn't respond well to Proactiv, the active ingredient of which is benzoyl peroxide; FF worked great for her. Just something to consider. I'd say if you have super-sensitive skin, blotchiness, rosacea, or *mild* acne, FF would be great for you to try. Otherwise, you might want to find a different cleanser -- those with more moderate/stubborn acne might try LUSH's Coalface.

 "AMAZING" 2008-08-06
By Shannon (Maine, USA)
I've had pretty bad acne for almost ten years now. I've literally tried everything. I've used prescription creams, Proactiv, over the counter products, and none of them did much. Proactiv actually made my skin worse.

I've heard about Lush a lot for the past few years, but I don't have a store around me so I didn't bother to try it. After reading an article about them a few weeks ago I decided it wouldn't hurt to try and I ordered this soap. When it came I was a little underwhelmed by the look of it, but the smell was heavenly - after a stressful day at work it managed to relax me.

After just one use I could see it working. I'm very pale and my skin tends to get very blotchy, but after washing my face with Fresh Farmacy I saw my skin tone evening out. I've used it twice a day for about two weeks now and my skin looks better than it has in years. I've had a couple pimples, but they're small and disappear within a day or two. I've even seen a few start to develop, but a few hours after washing my face they're gone.

I recommend this product to everyone with moderate to severe acne.

This thick, rich marvel is so unlike any other shampoo that your hair will think it's discovered a parallel universe: one where curls soften, relax and shine on command. Amazingly enough, we make it all happen without preservatives. (Helen, LUSH inventor extraordinaire, says she's rather pleased with that fact.) Coconut, cocoa and avocado butters, along with jojoba oil, control curls, weigh hair down and smooth hair follicles. Shredded coconut aids application and free-range eggs take the place of synthetic polymers, while lemons and papaya cleanse and add shine. Apply lovingly, then rinse out thoroughly (this might take a little extra effort due to all the exquisite natural ingredients).

 "Whipped luxury" 2009-06-24
By - Kasia S. (New York City)
I don't even have curly hair and still love this amazing shampoo. My hair is rather straight unless I twist it up and let it develop into a loose wave, but man, this little tub of whipped pink heaven rocks. Anyone with dryness, frizz or hair that simply needs some nourishment will really like this product. I guess if the hair is really fine then it might be a bit too heavy for it but other than that I can't think of any other reason not to use it.

A little goes a long way and the shampoo is very thick, more like a dessert in a tub with actual coconut pieces inside, it froths up wonderfully and is pretty easy to wash out, and the soft slickness that I get from it is truly addictive. Lush always impresses me with their products, some stink funny and some have strange colors and shapes but I love the natural ingredients, no animal testing and respect for the planet that comes with them.

Best of all, there are no preservatives in this, so I make sure to use up by the end date, but those aren't too short either. The shampoo is stuffed to the brim with goodies such as coconut, fresh lemon juice, linseed infusion, papaya, eggs, cocoa butter, shea butter, jojoba oil ( amazing stuff for hair), avocado butter, vanilla, vetivert oil, olive oil and lanolin. I know it sounds more like a salad dressing but the hair still comes out clean and feels great. I do use a clarifying shampoo very week or two, just to make sure my hair doesn't get over loaded, but so far this stuff is great and I've been using it for about 3 weeks now, mixing with other products and I have no complaints, just complements for it.

"Big Risk Yields Big Reward!" 2009-01-04
By J. DAMOUR (New York, NY)
I really went out on a limb for this stuff - it sells for $19.95 in stores. I could buy about 4 generic-brand shampoos for that price.

However - this stuff will last forever. I've gone through 4 washes already, and I'm still working on getting the excess off the jar's lid. I haven't even delved into to actual product IN the jar yet.

After just 4 washes, the difference is incredible. I have SO MUCH curly hair. It's big, uncontrollable, and hits the middle of my back. This shampoo makes my hair soft, textured, moisturized, and visibly most austere. BEWARE: this stuff is only for severe cases. I'm talking about BIG, curly hair. Otherwise, the stuff may be too powerful and may render you greasy. I don't know what exactly I was expecting out of this shampoo, because I had never even heard of the Lush brand before, but Curly Wurly has affected my hair in ways I did not think possible just by shampooing.

Buy it! You'll see what I mean.

"Heaven for curls (and those who love coconut)!" 2008-11-25
By Felony Melanie (Philly, PA)
I have long, thick and wavy/curly hair that has been plagued with uncontrollable frizzies regardless of how many fancy salon products I have used. Enter LUSH and all of their natural goodness -- salvation for my hair! I have to say that my tresses are rockin' now that I've embraced the natural curls with this stuff, it's made a huge difference!

The texture is far different from any other shampoo I've tried -- I would suggest taking a small clump and rubbing it between your palms to emulsify before lathering up. The coconut smell is rather intense (which I love!) as there are actual pieces of shredded coconut throughout the mix.

I got the Coolaulin conditioner with it because that is what LUSH recommends for curly hair. I'm ambivalent on the conditioner -- it is much lighter than other conditioners I've used, but it seems to absorb easily and work well with the Curly Wurly. I just have to use a lot to cover my thick hair. I may try American Dream next and see which I prefer.

I'd give this shampoo 6 stars out of 5 if I could, and I will always use this stuff now. It may be pricey, but because of the texture it does last a long time. I can't recommend it highly enough!

"Love the scent, but would sock in future." 2009-01-22

This bomb is the first I've tried on scent alone, I got it on my first trip to a Lush store. It's a nice sparkly color and adds a little shimmer to the water and I love the scent. For more use I'd recomend breaking it into pieces so it lasts longer, but this is one you want to sock in a nylon, the bits of lavender floating around do get just a bit annoying. Other then that, would get again.

 "Calming, Soothing Lavender" 2008-10-31
By LH422 (Washington, USA)
This is a bath bomb with a purpose, and its purpose is to induce sleep. A hefty ball of lavender fizziness, Golden Slumbers creates a strong but not overwhelming lavender scent in the bathwater, and allows for a relaxing aromatherapy soak. The top of the bomb is covered with gold shimmer (hence, golden slumbers) though this pretty much disappears in the water. Lush does aromatherapy very well, and this is no exception. I'm too much of an insomniac for this to actually put me to sleep, but it's a lovely, relaxing, lavender bath.

I have been suffering from lack of sleep lately because of a new work schedule. After a long day, I slumped into a bath with this bomb -- and its bits of lavender -- and a good book. Even after the water cooled down, I stayed in for the herbal-floral aromatherapy. I was so happy and calm when I slipped into bed; I'm sure I would've slept better if my husband hadn't ruffled me when he came to bed several hours later after band practice. :) I will buy this bomb again. The light, fresh, girly aroma lasts on the skin -- and made my hair smell fab for a day, too. The box did take awhile to arrive here in the D.C. area -- but the Web site said it would! (And it was worth the wait.) Up next: Butterball and Geo Phyzz.

Try Karma soap and see how lemongrass, pine, orange and patchouli essential oils can turn a boring shower into a truly groovy experience. You might think patchouli is only for hippies as it smells just a little too earthy. Well, flower child, you are so wrong! The scent is gentle and lovely but the full effect won't hit you until after your shower... when you experience a moment of true clarity. Note: This product may melt and is NOT guaranteed to arrive solid during the summer months!

I love this soap! The smell is absolutely fantastic! I've given lots of them as presents and everybody loved it too.

I bought some of this for myself and absolutely loved it! It smells so incredibly good! It reminds me of a head shop not that I ever frequented them, but I've smelled them from afar! Very hippylike! I loved it so much that my dear husband bought me some of the other products in the same scent for Christmas (alongwith more soap)! It's a very decadent gift!

Best smelling and feeling soap out there. I just wish it would last longer. Karma shampoo would be great compliment.

 "Calming, invigorating, and delicious" 2008-06-03
By LH422 (Washington, USA)
Lush advertises its Karma line as balancing, invigorating, with a bit of bohemian flair. Indeed, it is all of those things. It's a difficult fragrance to explain- definitely well-blended and multi-layered. The best description I can give is that the oranges give an uplifting sparkle while the patchouli grounds the fragrance. It's much more than a sum of it's parts- in fact, I think it's possible to hate one of the components and still love this perfume. I am no fan of patchouli, but really like Karma. I've been in love with this scent since I first smelled it in a Lush shop in 2001. Lush sells its Karma fragrance in a variety of forms, but I think I like the soap best. It's a little lighter on the perfume, and lingers on the skin, especially when using it to wash hands.

 "Patchouli and Orange" 2008-05-15
By Rebecca Johnson (Washington State)
One whiff of this delicious soap and you are transported to a land of pine trees where plates of freshly sliced oranges are served on a bed of lemongrass, surrounded by patchouli candles. This is the best way I can describe the scent that seems to awaken from the night and mingle with memories of exotic honey and wide-open skies.

I am not sure where I go when I inhale deeply, but I am no longer in the shower. Follow this with the Skin Sin lotion and you will enter a little bit of heaven on earth. Also delicious to use in a bath with sea salts and patchouli, orange slices optional, but you might crave the taste of oranges while using this soap.
