I won a bottle of Veganese Condition made by Lush on Sweeps 4 Bloggers blog. I have split ends and my hair gets really frizzy when the humidity is high. I used to color my hair all the time so it's damaged as well. I used Veganese Conditioner once and can already see a difference in my hair. It is shiner, smoother and all over healthier looking. The only thing I wasn't fond of was the scent. It has an almost manly scent. To me, that's a small price to pay for gorgeous hair. So if you use it, I would recommend using a scented hairspray or spraying perfume in the air and then wavying your hair around in it. If you spray it directly on your hair, you can damage it. If you are looking for a product that will give you smooth, silky looking hair, Veganese Conditioner is your best bet.

If your hair alternates between various moods every day of the week, then a good supply of conditioners and shampoos should keep you happy all year long. The lemon oil in two of the Lush products work together especially well. Veganese Conditioner and I Love Juicy shampoo could not be a better solution if you need to deep clean your hair. Like after you have put too much hairspray in your hair or you went swimming or say you fell in a mud puddle (In that case, also reach for Happy Hippy body wash).



You just never know what may occur and one must always be prepared. The Veganese is also a lovely vegetarian product that can be enjoyed by anyone. It has a very clean, happy energy and a lemony scent. The slippery conditioner slicks across your hair, making it shiny and manageable without weighing it down.



This also contains rosemary infusion, lavender flower infusion, seaweed and fresh lemon juice. Will be appreciated by anyone trying to lighten their hair.



If you use the henna products by Lush, these two products might slightly lighten your henna results. This could be desired or you may want to go back to using Rehab and American Cream if you want to keep a deeper henna shade.



If you want to feel light and breezy, this conditioner won't weigh you down. My hair feels fluffy and deliciously light and bouncy. I have this strange urge to go wander in lemon orchards, run through mud puddles and pick flowers by the side of the road.



Now officially in the mood to make lemonade!

I tend to be fairly low-maintenance (lazy) and prefer to shampoo and go if possible, but when I need my thick, slightly frizzy hair to be wonderfully sleek and shiny even in high humidity, I reach for the Veganese. Great fresh scent is wonderful in the mornings. I find a little goes a long way. Works very well after LUSH shampoo bars, and the scent doesn't clash with either Karma Komba or Squeaky Green. Much less expensive than the Aveda pre-styling anti-frizz treatment I was considering...

I was first attracted to this conditioner by its incredible scent - it smells quite strongly of pine. I absolutely love it, and have been using this product on and off for several years now. The smell stays in my hair, and conditions well enough to keep me happy.



However, this is not at all a deep conditioner, and as one who often dyes my hair, I find it a bit lacking in that respect. I've tried to intensify the results by simply using more, but I've found that it becomes increasingly difficult to rinse out effectively when doing so - it ends up leaving this heavy, greasy film when too much is used.



It's a bit awkward to use as a solid, so I've always mixed it with a bit of water and put it in a bottle. I suppose that this completely defeats the purpose of having it as a solid, but the difficulty applying it as such was really just not working out.



All things considered, I think I would still recommend this product to anyone who hasn't tried it. A cool side benefit of using a lighter, natural conditioner was that my skin cleared up significantly - I suppose the excessively filmy silicon-based traditional conditioners were clogging my pores.

The scent of this is amazing, although I don't know that it smells of tropical fruit! I know a lot of people say the fragrance lingers in their hair afterward, I could only smell it faintly for an hour or so until it faded. In terms of effectiveness, though, it works wonderfully. Honestly, at first I didn't like it though because it was really tricky to use and I could never seem to get the right amount for my hair. I used to rub it directly on my hair (like the solid shampoo bars), but I find that it's better to slice off slivers and then break off little bits from that. In the shower, I mush it up in my hand with a bit of hot water and put it on the ends of my hair. It really took some getting use to, but now I really like it!

I have bone straight hair, and am a conditioner junkie. This conditioner didn't untangle my hair as much as I would have liked, however, my hair is sooo shiny and smells amazing, even the day after I washed it!! I am totally in love with Lush!!

What an incredible conditioner! I paired it with one of Lush's solid shampoos, and boy do I love it! The smell is so wonderful- it really calms the senses. The application was a bit tricky at first, only because I had to keep swiping it on my hair to get the ends. Now that I'm used to it, I have no trouble. My hair is straight-ish, and after using the conditioner, my hair is silky and full of body!

I am not a diehard Lush fanatic, but I tried this conditioner a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. Well when I reordered recently, it wasn't the same at all. It was still a decent product, but the texture and thickness were somewhat different and it was not as effective as the first time around. I don't know if it's because they mix it in individual batches or what. The smell, however, was still the same and fantastic. I feel sort of bad giving this product just 2 stars because it's not a bad product but for the very high price I don't think it is worth it at all.

If you're purchasing this thinking it's going to smell like a fruity milkshake, you will be disappointed! This has more of a soft musk scent to it. It's pretty, just not as described. I will have to agree with the reviewer who said this smells like a babydoll head. You know that musky/powdery baby scent they apply to toy dollies? This is very reminiscent of that (including the odd plastic undertones). Like I said, it's a strange scent but I find myself sniffing my hair over and over again so I must like it a lot! :) This will infuse your hair with scent allllll day long and into the next day (or whenever it is you plan on taking your next shower). If you like sweet musk scents, this one is for you!



As far as moisturizing is concerned, this didn't do much for my very thick, shoulder-length hair. I ended up having to mix it with some of my other conditioner. I do have hard water and my hair is naturally prone to dryness so perhaps I just had those two factors working against my American Cream. Who knows, but it didn't do much. I think this would work well for someone with fine hair. This is a light conditioner, good for every day and it won't weigh your hair down (mine was light and bouncy afterwards. I started with Daddy-O shampoo).

Overall I think the best thing about this conditioner is the way it infuses your hair with its scent. It's definitly odd, but I just can seem to get enough of it!



American Cream is only getting 3 stars from me since I expected this to smell like a fruity milkshake (which it does not) and it didn't moisturize my hair very well. If you have dry, thick ahir like me, I recommend pairing this with another, more moisture-rich conditioner. :)

I have long hair, very thick but very dry. American Cream is one of the few conditioners that leave my hair soft, manageable and smells wonderful!! I use it with Karma solid shampoo, and rinse out as normal. After I have toweled my hair nearly dry, I put a dab in my hands and run it through as a leave in conditioner!! The smell is divine and my hair is shiny for days!!

The American Dream hair conditioner makes taking a shower or bath something to really look forward to, especially since using this product will not only scent the entire shower and bathroom, it will drift slowly and sensuously throughout the house with the shower steam.



The Lush products will make you want to stay in the shower and bath a bit longer and you will feel a little dreamy after using these products.



The American Cream Hair Conditioner works very well after the Rehab shampoo. The shampoo deep cleans and the conditioner leaves your hair silky and scented for hours and hours. If you use it at night, you may awaken to a delicious fragrance and ask yourself: "What smells so delicious?" No, it is not a freshly baked cake dripping with a spicy frosting, it is YOU.



Oh, as a last note - If you want to have a little fun (and what Lush product buyer doesn't?), you can use a tiny bit of Rehab shampoo to wash delicates and soften them with a little conditioner. (Also works if you put about 1 tablespoon into a Downy fabric softener ball and add hot water. My towels are all fluffy and so deliciously scented.)

The smell is amazing - not too overpowering, just natural and sexy. Almost like aromatherapy! I walk around smelling my hair all day! My boyfriend enjoys smelling my hair as well! Just follow the directions for best results. Use the coolest to coldest water you can handle for better shine results. It's not a greasy shine...for me it brings out the highlights in my hair. Ladies after many years of buying the cheap stuff from the drugstore, e.g. Pantene, Herbal Essences, etc., I found that it is worthwile to buy the more expensive shampoos...and switch it up. I use at least 3 different brands of shampoo/condition, including KMS California depending on the style, i.e. curls, straight. Treat yourself and your hair!

This guy knows how to make good product for hair; the best conditioner out there for those with dry hair. I have NEVER had the results that I've had with this conditioner. I am a firm believer in good shampoo but this shampoo and conditioner were horrible. It made me look like I was slicked with oil. I had to return it. I seriously don't know how this product doesn't make everyone oily! Especially with the fact that my hair is coarse and dull. It's not like I have oily hair. I used Prell every other day just to clarify my hair. Not that I would use Prell normally but this was just ridiculous and my hair needed serious help!
