I never know what the color is going to look like when I receive it, so I wasn't too thrilled with the color (but that is not the product's fault-just the risk you take with ordering colors online).

However...the feel of the lipstick on your lips is amazing. Very soft and creamy. I'm happy with that part.

This is a superb lipstick----taste-free, lightweight, non--sticky, very moisturizing, and that moistness lasts and doesn't evaporate like other lipsticks with a similar texture, and stays on for a few hours. Other similarly lightweight, moist, sheer lipsticks (this is a sheer shade) fade in an hour or less. Stays put, too. Great product and worth the price!

This product is more of a gloss than a lipstick. I think it will probably look great over a real lipstick, but that's not what I was looking for. Doesn't last very long either. I expected a little better from this company.

I love my NARS Dolce Vita lipstick. Most of my lipsticks get used occasionally -- but this one is an everyday staple, and I always use the entire tube. The formula is fairly creamy, and I would say it is about average in how long it lasts. Not as long-lasting as most long-wear lipsticks, but not nearly as drying, either. I don't think of it as a matte finish, as one reviewer noted -- seems more creamy and moist to me, not too shiny, but definitely a tad shiny. The Dolce Vita color is a neutral pinky-brown. It gives me a little bit of color but doesn't give the look of being made up. It's a very natural-looking color on my medium-fair skin. I usually wear much deeper colors so I was a little surprised by how nice this looks. Now it has become an everyday staple. I like the container, also. It's fairly small and very sturdy -- the cap stays on when I carry this around in my purse all day, the case has never cracked. It is a tad pricy -- and though I like it, I wouldn't call it amazing or life-changing -- which is why I held back one star.

I don't understand why so many people gush over NARS products, as I've always been disappointed by them. The lipstick is no exception. Yes, the colors are great and NARS offers a wide assortment, but the product is very drying and doesn't last long at all. I suggest trying Stila or Too Faced lipstick instead, which are my favorite brands.

Warm color, great for work or play. Just a little lighter than expected, so I added liner. I think First Bite could complement many different skin tones. Not very long lasting, but goes on smooth (moist).

This lipstick is very creamy and rich. I like the texture but the red is a little too bright. When I wear the lipstick I use a gloss over it and that sort of tones it down.
