Great product. I don't think I'll look for any other similar product anymore. I am Asian with mix skin type. The powder kisses and melts into my skin without leaving a trace. A must finish touch!!! (Translucent shade)

I can't say enough about this setting powder. I bought translucent and it truley is perfect. Does not cake, no color helps keep foundation true, and can reapply all day with no buildup. I will never use another powder again.

I have tried many brands and this is by far the best loose powder that I have ever tried.

Sets the foundation really well. You'll want to reapply about twenty minutes after the initial application but after that you're pretty much set for the rest of the day. This has been my favorite powder ever since I first tried it about 8 years ago. I have yet to find a cleaner finish.

 "Luxuriously silky" 2008-07-07

When Laura Mercier first entered the market with her promise of flawless skin, I bought the Oil-Free Foundation. While it was one of the best foundations I have ever used in terms of finish and look, I had to stop using it after my skin broke out. Apart from her blushers, I have avoided her brand until I decided to get a bit adventurous recently and bought the Primer and Translucent Loose Powder.

Well hands down this is one of the best loose powders I have ever tried! And after two months of using it, my skin hasn't gone psycho on me. The texture is quite sheer and silky. It sets my foundation, giving me a nice, matte and polished look. In terms of the color, I was indeed sceptical as I am naturally tan (MAC NC42, Chanel 50) and I was worried about looking like a geisha. Well have no fear because Translucent is a versatile color (or non-color!). It won't change the color of your foundation and will keep the oils at bay for a while, ensuring that you only need to do minimal touch-ups depending on the weather. While they recommend the "press and roll" method of application, my preference is applying it directly with a large powder brush for a lighter touch (I use one by Trish McEvoy). I dip the brush, tap off the excess powder and lightly dust on my face. Voila! My make up is set.

It may seem a little expensive, but you truly get what you pay for and this product should last a while.
