I received a small bottle of Oliva Branch shower gel in a gift box last year, and really wasn't thrilled with it (that is, by comparison to other Lush shower gels). The scent is very subtle (lemony) and it doesn't foam much.

Then I got another small bottle in a x-mas gift box and left it by the sink. When I tried it as a facial cleanser I was really impressed. It leaves your skin squeaky clean but doesn't dry. All the things I didn't like about it as a shower gel are advantageous as a facial cleanser.In fact, it moisturizes: a rare combination,paradoxical even. I still don't use it in the shower but it is part of my daily routine. Lush frequently turns over their product line and sometimes favorites disappear :( (occasionally to reappear years later). I hope this one stays around for a while. I have not found anything else which works as well.

This is a truly wonderful shower gel. It is very concentrated and lasts a long time. The smell is almost addictive. I had to buy the solid perfume just to smell it even more! It makes the skin feel soft and hydrated. I definitely recommend it.

Not only does this have the most intoxicating scent ever, but it does not strip the skin. This also works great as a shampoo, but be forewarned that you will be sniffing your hair all day and night. I am a soapmaker but despite all the soaps that I own, I make room in my shower to pamper myself with this shower gel. After I shower, the scent fills my bathroom for many hours after.

This scent is fairly strong. I love it. It reminds me of going to the botanical gardens as a child. It is however too strong to me during pregnancy. I hear that it really does help with PMS from friends. This is most likely why it bothers me during pregnancy. It is also great as a shampoo. Just beware it really stays in your hair through out the night.

I bought this product when I was visiting the Portland LUSH store - the scent is very nice, and the floral elements are not flowery, but more musky. It leaves a gentle non-greasy moisturized feeling on my skin, and the scent lasts for hours. It's apparently a best-seller for them, and I am definitely ordering more.



As the other reviews mentioned, the scent is pretty strong, but as long as you like it, it's not an issue.

The Flying Fox Shower Gel is the second shower gel I've tried from Lush and this one has a silky, sensuous, honey appeal. This really does contain honey and is also infused with Jasmine Flower Extract, Ylang Ylang, Cypress Oil, Palmarossa Oil, Angelica Polymorpha Sinensis Root and Arctium Lappa Root. That is one list of ingredients!



All I can tell you is that this blend of essential oils and plant extracts is especially soothing to the skin and the scent of jasmine makes this especially appealing. I noticed that unlike other shower gels and soaps I've tried, this didn't remove the moisture barrier and I ended up feeling like my skin was moisturized when I stepped out of the shower.



To extend the beautiful warm jasmine fragrance, you can use the luxuriously smooth and creamy Flying Fox Temple Balm as a perfume. It is heady! I love that you can experience the fragrance all night long by using the temple balm. I love the scent of Jasmine so this was a real find!

I'm in my 6th month of pregnancy and with the hormone fluctuations came blackheads and acne that looked like I broke out in a rash. When my doctor said to use a benzoyl peroxide all I could think about was goopy, thick creams like clearasil. DDF is not like that at all!



The gel is not messy and absorbs quickly. Since it dries almost immediately, you also don't have to worry about any nasty bleaching on your pillows at night or on clothes. I think the tea tree oil must also help with calming the skin because my face was immediately less red.



I've only been using it for less than a week now and within a few days have seen some great results. My skin is almost back to pregnancy shape and even the worst areas of neck and chinline is also already looking better. Definitely has proven better than weekly facials (in cost and skin improvement).

I've been using Neutrogena On the Spot Acne Treatment and I hated the consistency, it didn't blend in well and was very drying. But this seems more "liquidy" and is a stronger % of Benzoyl Peroxide. (It's hard to find 5% in drugstores.) They basically only have 10% which is WAY too harsh. I hate how people complain about the cost of higher end products. This tube is huge and will last a while and it is only 24.00, which is not bad. Most people will spend that anyway in their search for the perfect drugstore product. I know I have. 5.00 here with salicylic acid formula, throw away. 5.00 with the 10% benzoyl peroxide, too harsh...throw away. So this purchase is totally worth it!!
