I have pretty oily skin that makes it hard to keep my makeup on. I tried the normal primer a while back and it only made things worse! But now that I've started using the Light Primer I can tell a huge difference. It does not dry out my skin but keeps it from getting so oily and shiney that my makeup melts off. So, unless you have oily skin this product will probably not make too much of a difference. But if you do, this is a huge help!

Absorbs into the skin like a light moisturizer and hides things some powder foundations can accentuate like fine lines and enlarged pores. I've tried other foundation primers and Smashbox Photo Finish Light is the best for holding back shine without messing with my foundation!

I first read about this in one of my daughter's fashion magazines and thought I would try it so I ordered it. I am a "young" 62 but was always bothered by foundation or blush settling into tiny pores and looking dark and even at my age I get shiny before noon and am constantly going for powder. This primer is great for all of the above. It must fill in the little pores as my problem with that is gone. It also makes my foundation go on smoother and much more natural looking. I dust with powder afterwards and it lasts just about the whole day without touchups. I figure what I spend on this primer I will save with powder.

I HATE THIS STUFF,I BOUGHT THIS THINKING IT WOULD HELP ME WITH MY SENSITIVE SKIN AND ACNE BUT IT DID NOTHING BUT MAD THINGS WORSE. FOR ONE IT MADE ME BREAK OUT EVEN MORE,TWO IT MADE MY FACE SO OILY TIL IT LOOKED LIKE I WAS RUNNING A MARATHON FOR DAYS,AND THREE IT MADE MY MAKEUP MESS UP. MY FOUNDATION IS PERFECT I DON'T NEED A PRIMER TO SMOOTH IT OUT AT ALL IT ALREADY BLENDS EASY. THE PRIMER MADE IT LOOK LIKE IT WAS MELTING OFF MY FACE. AND MY POWDER IS GREAT TO HELPS ALOT WITH THE OIL,THE PRIMER MADE IT LOOK SUPER OILY AND I HAD THE POWDER FOR SOME MONTHS SO I KNOW THE PRIMER DID THAT. I WILL NEVER BUY THIS STUFF AGAIN. I SPENT 36 BUCKS ON THIS WHAT A WAIST!!! THANK GOODNESS THE SHIPPING WAS FREE.

I own this product, but it seems to leave white clumps on my skin, so I don't really use it.
