It will make your hair feel like silk. I've used it on my hair on the nape of my hair line where it is dry and it created softness. used it on my niece's natural hair and it makes it manageable, soft, and fresh. One of the keys to healthy hair is using a good conditioner and detangler and this is the one product that would work for most hair. if hair is relaxed it will just take a little bit to add luster.

I think what people need to know is that CD is not the end all be all natural product for our hair. I have natural 4a hair and was not amazed by this product not the Black vanilla smoothie. This hair milk wasn't terrible like many people say, but I wasn't a fan of the scent of the product and felt that it performed like a regular hair lotion. I was slightly disappointed. Like most of the black women on here, i wanted to support a black sista business but this as well as the Black Vanilla product just didn't cut it. Also, is it just me, or is Carol's Daughter reusing the SAME ingredients in every product? Take a look at the ingredient list, every products ingredients consists of the exact same thing, so we are basically paying for the same products all over again. That right there sort of puts me off, not to say that she can't do it but dang if I'm spending $19 on a product I would hope that the ingredients were a little different. :(

In an attempt to go more natural with haircare, I stopped using John Fredia Frizz-Ez products and normal shampoos. I wanted something that was actually good for my loose curly/wavy hair. I switched to Nature's Gate organics Nature's Gate Organics Shampoo,Tea Tree Oil & Blue Cypress, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3)Nature's Gate Organics Conditioner, Lemongrass & Clary Sage, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) for shampoo and conditioner, but still needed a de-frizzing agent. I did some research and came across this. I like the smell of it and only use about a dime sized amount for my shoulder length hair. It works great! I love the way that gets rid of frizz without drying out my hair and helps to get some detail to my curly hair. I can use it after an evening shower and end up with a head full of curls or in the morning to get a different look. It works really well, and in combination with the organic hair care products, my hair has never been healthier.

I recently did the "Big Chop" to natural hair. It was very liberating but that's another story. Hair Milk by Carol's Daughter is the "go to" product if you want something to help define your natural curls. People often ask me if I have a texturizer. Nope, I say, this is all natural with a little help from H20 and Carol's Daughter! The scent is lemon grass and it smells lovely to me. But like all hair products, this may not be for everyone. The search is about finding the right product for you and your own unique head of hair.
