NARS lipliner pencil in Borneo has been my go-to color for almost 10 years. Worn all day, every day, this lip liner is never drying and keeps any product I apply on top from feathering.



Borneo almost exactly matches my lip color, so I don't have to think each morning about a match, no matter what lipstick I choose. I wear Borneo mostly as a liner, but I also wear it as a full lip color when I want to play down my lips a bit. It's one of those my-lips-but-better colors (cool, fair complexion with green-blue eyes for reference). I actually prefer it to the cult favorite, MAC Spice, which is a touch too dark for me.



For added drama, I adore Amazon, a cool brick red. I was heartbroken when NARS discontinued my beloved Mongolian Red and Kink lipsticks, but I still have Amazon, which I often wear alone with just a bit of lip balm on top.

I read another review on this product that recommended it for women with larger lips because of the stains and liners available as opposed to glosses and lipsticks. I have to say that Hush matches my natural lip color perfectly. My lips are bicolored (I forget the clinical term) and I've been looking for a liner that would help me minimize that some. It goes on very easily, even if you have creases (think Angelina Jolie). Using the stain on top ads another dimension of color, but I'd definitely wear it alone for a matte look. Definitely give it a shot if you are looking for a way to avoid the "greasy" look.

I got this product as a free sample, I would not have bought it otherwise because I don't like the feel or look of most lip glosses. I usually use lip liner and rub Aquaphor on for a very slight gloss effect, problem is it looks great but washes off too soon.

This product gives that perfect hint of subtle, pretty lip color with slight shine and there is no glittery watery look to it like their is to most glosses. It made my lips look plump and healthy.

The gloss smells nice, is hardly sticky, and you need only a tiny bit of it. It stays on well.

I have medium/olive skin and use the Bare Beige color. It looks very dark in the tube but doesn't come out that way.

As far as lip glosses (or "glaces", if one feels particularly cosmetic-namey) go, this has been my favorite. The wand is sturdily and attractively packaged in a see-through plastic tube, and the glace itself spreads with liquid ease without being overly sticky or runny. While not precisely flavored, the gloss has a pleasant, non-bitter taste. It rubs off, as usual, a little too quickly, but I have to say I use it almost every day and one tube has lasted me quite a few months.

I got this as a sample from Sephora, and I loved the color it changed my lips with the subtle irritation. I don't really have any need for a plumper per say, but the coloring was fantastic, so I decided to go ahead and get the full size as a treat.



I found that at times, it made the outside rim of my lips more red then the rest, so I like to use it as a companion to TheBalm stainiac in Beauty Queen.



Soft, smooth feel, not super sticky like some glosses can be. The only sad part is, it only last 1/2 hour at best before your lips return to normal size and color. I would describe the effect as your lips after a good make-out session, the bee stung look. Worth a try if you have cash to thrown around, but only if you have realistic expectations.

While I will say this product did plump my lips, it was minimal at best. I was hoping for outstanding results from this product given the price. I felt tingling, just like the other reviewer pointed out. I've used Sally Hansen Lip Inflation which seems to have better results, even though it doesn't smell nearly as nice as this one. I think I'll stick with the cheaper brand for better results.

This lip plumping serum is seriously effective in creating beautiful lips but it is also more tingly than DuWop's Venom Gloss. At first, it is just a smooth gel/serum you apply within the lip line. This is a powerful product that will cause your lips to actually change color, making them look like you applied lipstick. The tingle can last for 3-5 minutes and is not uncomfortable, but noticeable.



This formula promises long term results and unlike other products that fade in a matter of hours, you might wake up the next day and still be able to see the effects. Using this product morning and evening along with your regular beauty routine helps to maintain the results.

This product WORKS. However, I want to point out that for me it didn't "tingle" like other reviewers have said, it HURT A LOT. But the good news is that you get used to it really quickly, and after the first few days of using it I barely feel it and it doesn't hurt anymore. If you use it and it hurts, just power through it because it will get better.

After only a few days of using this product in the mornings and evenings my lips are plumper throughout the day. I will definitely keep purchasing this product, and you should try it.

For those who don't like the heavy feel that lipstick can deliver this is an ingenious alternative to still getting some color but without feeling like a ton of makeup is sitting on the face. Sheer lips is a very light and transparent lipstick that delivers that just bitten look, I like to pair it with silver eyes, black winged out eyeliner ( cat eye style) and this lipstick, it just echoes a red riding hood and fantasy movies with falling snow and velvet capes.



Bare lips is the color I purchased and it's perfect, a true sheer red, just slightly stronger then my own lip color. Usually I prefer nude or pink lips but this is so flattering that I can't stop wearing it. So ladies if you like a feather light color of vitality that looks fresh and not at all heavy, then this is perfect for you.



The color is very light and just lightly tinted, but it's easy and comfortable to wear, a real winner. Sometimes I add clear gloss on top for a pop of slick shine.

I have been using the Mulberry lip stain on myself and my clients for 3 years and consider it one of the few true genius beauty products available. For value and practicality it can't be beat: I put on one application for an evening out and it lasts through an entire play, including intermission refreshments. On Caucasian women, Mulberry looks natural but dramatic at the same time -- it is obvious that you are wearing lip color, but because it is sheer and matte it doesn't look overdone. This makes it totally wearable in office settings -- and can be topped with a shimmering gloss for night if you want more drama. I am now using only my second pot, as it is highly pigmented and one little lip brush dab is enough to cover both lips. You should know that it is not the kind of lip "stain" like the liquids from Benefit and LORAC that "sink" into the lips or skin. The Laura Mercier product behaves more like it is bonding with the lips -- but not soaking in.

Just bought this stain in the Mulberry color and I love it ! Lip stains are not meant to be an "all day long wear" product. It stays on longer than a lipstick but is sheerer and not as sticky as a gloss. I do love the lipglosses from NARS. They have a wide range of shades that last a long time. The only thing that I don't like is that one a couple of the shades that have shimmer in them, the shimmer tends to feel gritty on your lips. I have Belize and Gothika lipglosses and they have that feeling. But on the creamy ones feel great on the lips. Expensive but a fantastic buy.

One of my lip color HG's for sure (Rage is my fave color) but don't be mislead; this is not a gloss in the traditional, shiny sense. It's a very opaque and sort of matte product which stays on for hours.



It can be a bit drying on the lips. Also remember a little goes a long way- you only need a dab! I recommend using lip liner with this product to resist feathering (NOTE: it has a tendency to end up on your teeth so watch out for that).
